On 5–6 April, heavy rain and strong winds affected the provinces of Sukhothai and Nakhon Phanom in north-western and eastern Thailand, respectively, resulting in damage.
According to the ASEAN Disaster Information Network (ADINet), nearly 1,600 people have been affected, along with at least 400 houses - 390 in Sukhothai and seven in Nakhon Phanom.
Over the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with isolated thunderstorms is expected across the affected provinces.
