The Rajaprajanugroh Foundation distributes survival kits sponsored by His Majesty the King to villages affected by inundation in Sena district in Ayutthaya province.
President of the Rajaprajanugroh Foundation Dissathorn Vajarodaya gave 1,350 royally donated survival kits to the flood-affected people in Ayutthaya. The people are overwhelmed with His Majesty the King's generosity and concern for their well-being.
In the meantime, Deputy Prime Minister Olarn Chaipravat and his entourage traveled to the City Hall of Ayutthaya to hand out supplies and construct temporary entrances and exits in flooded communities. 13 districts and more than 10,000 families in the province have been affected by the flooding.
The deputy premier said he had instructed the province to expedite aid for the flood hit villagers and requested the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation to send trucks to distribute drinking water to the villagers. Mr Olarn stated further that he will discuss assistance for the flood victims with the Cabinet and the existing mitigation plans may be adjusted. He said the flood-affected people needs occupational assistance most as their farms were completely damaged.
