Only 2000 agriculturists remain uncompensated with the Department of Agricultural Extension having been assigned to assist them.

The permanent secretary reports that the Ministry of Agriculture will be returning some funds allocated by the government due to an excess supply. Mr. Banpot said a Cabinet assessment has deemed compensation efforts to be satisfactory, due to the prompt nature of officials in assisting flood victims.
