Thailand: HRH Prince Vajiralongkorn helps floods victims

His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn on Wednesday (November 4) graciously sent over 20 mobile medical units through the Ministry of Public Health to rush helping floods' victims in six provinces.

Minister of Public Health, Pol Capt Chalerm Yubumrung said the six provinces included Ayuthaya, Nakhon Ratchasima, Nakhon Sawan, Ang Thong, Kamphaeng Phet, and Chaiyaphum.

The royal assistance, he said, included distribution medicine sets which helped reducing pains, diarrhea, and medicine for Dermatophytes. Boots also were handed out to prevent disease and infection from the flood water.

Meanwhile, Permanent Secretary for Public Health, Dr. Prat Boonyawongvirot went to public health station, Wat Tra Ku in Bang Barn district, Ayuthaya province, to oversee the site.

Ayuthaya province had seven districts and 16 sub-districted being flooded at two metres high in some areas. It affected 2,943 households covering some 10,000 people. Nakhon Sawan province's five districts were flooded.
