Heavy monsoon rainfall has been affecting several parts of Thailand, in particular the North, East and South Regions, since 3 July, causing floods that have resulted in damage.

The ASEAN Disaster Information Network (ADINet) reports, as of 5 July, approximately 7,650 affected people and more than 1,500 damaged houses across eight Provinces, namely Nan, Chanthaburi, Rayong, Krabi, Phang Nga, Trang, Satun and Nakhon Si Thammarat, throughout the aforementioned affected Regions.

Over the next 24 hours, more heavy rainfall with locally very heavy rainfall is forecast over northern, central and central-southern Thailand.
