Thailand: Floods still wreck havoc in 7 provinces

Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation reported the floods' situation in seven provinces. Sing Buri province had one district flooded, while three districts were flooded in Ang Thong and nine districts in Ayutthaya province had been hit by floods. The floods' situation still persisted.

Meanwhile, the department's spokesman said that heavy rains had hit the southern region and caused flash floods in four provinces: Chumphon (three districts), Surat Thani (two districts), Nakhon Si Thammarat (seven districts) and Phatthalung (one district). The flash floods hit agricultural land and caused inundation in some areas.

The department has provided relief for the victims. People who have been effected by floods could call 1784 mitigation line.
