The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation has found three areas in the Central region currently experiencing flood conditions.
The deparment reported today (November 5) that constant rains in the lower part of the Northern region has caused the Chao Phraya River to rise and overflow into several areas. The immediately affected areas included Inthaburi district in Singburi province, Pa Moke in Ang Thong province and areas of Ayuthaya province.
Other than the Chao Phraya river, the Noi, Lopburi and Pa Sak rivers have also risen and begun to flood residential areas and paddy fields.
The department informed all provincial administrations to warn their residents and be prepared to implement safety measures
