Thailand: Floods situation in 3 provinces improve
Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation,
Ministry of Interior, issues a report that recent heavy rains had caused
floods in four provinces, including Mae Sot district in Tak province, Dan
Khun Thot district in Nakhon Ratchasima, Lablae district in Uttraradit
and Den Chai district in Phrae. However, the floods' situation has resumed
normalcy in three provinces, except Dan Khun Thot district.
A Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation's spokesman said that local officials have urgently examined the damages and provided initial assistance to the victims. A 1784 hot line is available for assistance.
