Koh Samui's district chief states that flooding problem in the city areas may be challenging to be dealt with due to public canals' trespassing by locals residing in the areas.
Koh Samui's locals have been suffering from the floods caused by heavy rains over the past few days. The Samui's municipality has been providing sandbags to the locals to be used as barriers preventing the floods from damaging their residences.
