Thailand: Chumphon officials deal with flood by providing alternative road access system

Mr. Pramote Limpanarangrit, Director of Chumphon province, stated that Savi Canal's water levels have become excessive to the extent of overflowing its banks and onto the Asia 41 Road in the province.

The water level has reached over one meter high, disallowing all vehicles to pass though.

Meanwhile, the road number 40006 connecting Lang Suan and Ra Nong has still been blocked by flood waters, forcing motorists to use the Barring Bridge from Nakhon Si Thammarat province as alternative route for vehicles to access through and bypass the inundation.
