People in five provinces were warned of flash floods
After receiving a report that on November 6, water would be released at 2,500 cubic metres per second through Chao Phraya dam to help alleviate overall floods' problem in the country, Ayuthaya Governor Mr. Preecha Kamolbutr warned people living near the Chao Phraya River areas to be prepared for flash floods.
Other provinces close to the Chao Phraya River bank ranging from Nakhon Sawan, Kamphaeng Phet, Chai Nat, and Ang Thong would also be affected. Many areas of these provinces had been affected by heavy rains which caused floods during the past couple of months.
