Thailand: 1,996 million baht allocated to help Nakhon Sawan people and farmers affected by flood

Deputy Nakhon Sawan Governor Chonchoen Boonyanusart revealed the progress on assisting people and farmers affected by flood, informing that 1,996 million baht have been approved to compensate farmers and people.

Mr. Chonchoen said that the money will be brought to help 2,424 unemployed workers, 279 skilled workers, and small entrepreneurs. The money will be also used for providing educational equipments to students, restoring agricultural areas, and renovating buildings, residences and temples damaged by the flood.

Mr. Chonchoen informed that local residents are happy with the state assistance, adding that the assistance will be completed within Feb 15th.
