UTTRADIT, 9 May 2014 (NNT) - The Uttradit Red Cross unit has provided help and assistance to over 300 households belonging to storm-struck victims in Pichai district .
In a summer storm on May 8th 2014 that damaged over 300 households, schools and temples in Pichai district, trees fell on electricity poles causing power outages in the area. Related agencies moved swiftly to provide aid and assistance to the victims, while deputy Uttradit governor, Weerachai Phupiangjai, visited the devastated locals to handout relief packages at the Bupharam temple in Pichai district.
Mr.Weerachai further ordered district officials to quickly inspect the affected areas and estimate damage in order to provide proper household reconstruction materials.
