NAKHON SI THAMMARAT, 13 February 2017 (NNT) - Flood victims in Nakhon Si Thammarat expressed their gratitude to local authorities for their help and support.

The Second Naval Area Command sent a group of soldiers to help residents in Chulabhorn district repair their houses in the aftermath of a month-long flood. A 60-year old homeowner in the district, Preeda Khaoset, said she was grateful for the help she received as she never could have repaired the house by herself due the scale of the damage.
