NAN, 28 June 2011 (NNT)-Nan Governor Mr. Senee Jitkasem said although the water levels had stabilized, the inundation still posed hazards to residents.
He cited the need to keep monitoring the weather this time around, adding that the situation would return to normal soon if there were no more rains in the future.
The Governor has admitted that rescue teams have been unable to get through to all residents of 15 districts especially those living in the northern part of the province as water in several rivers are flowing towards these areas.
Local authorities, private sectors, rescue teams have continuously been trying to reach remote communities to the best of their ability to make sure nobody are left behind.
