SPOTLIGHT

• On the 22nd of May 2020, there were no new cases of COVID-19 announced by the Ministry of Public Health of Thailand (MoPH). The total number of cases remains at 3,037.

• Two Thai returnees from Egypt and India have been tested and awaiting test results.

• There has been a total of 45 confirmed cases in the past two weeks, the majority are imported cases being held in state quarantine (15). The rest of the cases are the result of close contact with a previously confirmed case (11); active case finding (6); detainees in Immigration Detention Centres (5); persons who frequented crowded places (5); and persons working in vulnerable occupations (3).

• No new deaths were reported today.
