- Compared to last week, prices of basic food commodities such as sugar, cottonseed and vegetable oil decreased by 1- 6% due to increase in their stocks in the markets.But the price of rice increased by 1%.
- In most food markets of cities and districts, the average price of carrots and onions increased by 5-13% compared to last week.
- Average prices for mutton, beef, chicken and beans remain volatile depending on the increase or decrease in their stocks.
- The average price for diesel and petrol remained unchanged compared to the last week. However, the price of LPG decreased by 4%.
- The wage rate for unskilled and skilled mardikors in the markets increased by 1-2% from the previous week, taking into account the start of seasonal work.
