- An earthquake of 5.8 M at a depth of 12.6 km occurred on 13 April at 04.24 UTC (9.24 local time) in the district of Tajikistan, central Tajikistan. The epicentre was located about 25 km east of Rasht district. An aftershock of 4.7 M has been recorded in the same area at 14.34 UTC.
