Access to education remains challenging for children in Syria, due to the destruction of education infrastructure, the low quality of learning and continuous population movements (which were recorded especially in Deir-ez-Zor, Aleppo and Idlib governorates.

Accessibility remains an issue in several parts of the country (such as Rukban, located at the buer zone with Jordan) as well as security concern (for example, in Kafar Zita, northern rural Hama Governorate, education activities were temporarily suspended aecting some 2,000 primary and secondary level students).
