HIGHLIGHTS

An estimated 500,000 people have been displaced across Syria by the earthquake.

As of 15 March, more than 1.3 million people had been vaccinated against cholera in affected areas in north-west Syria.

234,000 people were provided access to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services following repairs and small- scale rehabilitation of water and sanitation infrastructure in affected areas across Syria since the beginning of the response.

The European Commission and the Swedish Council
Presidency of the European Union will host an International
Donor Conference on 20 March in Brussels to mobilize
pledges for further relief, recovery and rehabilitation after the earthquake. -
To date, the Syria Earthquake Flash Appeal has received US$256.2 million or 64.4 per cent of the requirement. Additional funding is required to meet the most immediate needs of the affected population.
