In January, the Logistics Cluster in close collaboration with SARC and OCHA coordinated one Inter-Agency Humanitarian Convoy to the hard-to-reach location of Moadamiyeh, in Rural Damascus Governorate.

Much needed humanitarian supplies, including Shelter, Nutrition, Education, Protection, Food and Health items for a total of 1,609 m³ were transported to this location on behalf of four organisations.

As part of the airlift operation between Damascus and Qamishli, 51 flights were conducted in January, delivering 4,449 m³ of food and non-food items on behalf of WFP, ICRC, IOM, UNHCR and UNICEF.

15,000 litres of WFP-procured fuel were donated to UNHCR while 8,200 litres of diesel and fuel were provided to IMC and DRC on a cost-recovery basis.
Transport and Storage

The Logistics Cluster facilitated the transport to and from accessible and secure locations inside Syria on a cost-recovery basis of 2,511 m³ of much needed Protection, Shelter, WASH and Education supplies, on behalf of ICRC, IOM, UNFPA, UNHCR and UNICEF.

The Logistics Cluster stored 2,192 m³ of newly received humanitarian goods in the common storage facilities in Homs, Qamishli and Rural Damascus on behalf of ICRC, IMC, IOM, UNICEF and UNFPA.
