The Syria Emergency Response Fund (ERF) mobilises and channels resources to humanitarian partners to respond to the current situation in Syria and initiate life-saving humanitarian activities both inside Syria and in neighbouring countries.
Since its inception in March 2012, the ERF has received $80.2 million. To date, the ERF has allocated $57 million for 173 projects in Syria, Iraq, Jordan and Lebanon. The total ERF balance is $22.8 million. 12 Projects amounting to $5.4 million are currently under review. If approved, the ERF balance will stand at $17.5 million
