Syria - Displacement from Lebanon to Syria (DG ECHO, UNHCR, SARC) (ECHO Daily Flash of 04 October 2024)

  • With the escalation of hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah continuing, crossings of both Syrians and Lebanese nationals into Syria are ongoing. According to UNHCR, as of 3 October, 185,000 people have crossed into Syria. It is estimated that 70% are Syrians and 30% are Lebanese nationals.
  • Humanitarian needs have been identified in different sectors.
