Syria Cross-border Humanitarian Fund: 2025 First Reserve Allocation Strategy – Menbij Response

Attachments

This allocation addresses critical humanitarian needs in Menbij subdistrict following recent hostilities and a shift in control in the area. Prioritizing life-saving interventions in Health, Shelter/CCCM, Multipurpose Cash Assistance, WASH, Food Security, and Protection, the allocation focuses on supporting Menbij National Hospital, providing comprehensive assistance to IDP camps, sites and to displaced populations through multisectoral support and cash assistance, rehabilitating local bakeries, and conducting protection assessments and referral to support the scale up of the response. The strategy aims to bridge service delivery gaps and enhance coordination among humanitarian actors, aligning with the Syria Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP) extension to support both immediate relief and longer-term resilience.
