Syria: Bi-weekly update on health sector coordination at national and sub-national levels, 16-31 August 2022

Deir-ez-Zoir:

• Held health working group meeting in presence of Deir Ezzor health director and governor representative (31 Aug).
• Circulated with health sector partners the latest updates of health services coverage map which includes the GPS coordination of fixed and mobile health facilities.
• Held a coordination meeting with DOH, discussed the EWARS updates and cooperation ways, agreed to support the COVID 19 surveillance system throughout involve NGOs and train them on using the rapid test in coordination with surveillance department of DOH.(29 Aug)
• Follow up with engineering department of DOH with regard to handing over the national hospital of Al Mayadeen to the contractor.
• Circulated MHPSS trainings plan for Q3&Q4 2022 with health sector partners.
