The SRTF Supports Farmers Northern Aleppo with the Delivery of Harvesters

Türkiye – Thursday, 6 June 2025 – The SRTF continues supporting farmers in Northern Aleppo through the delivery of three harvesters with their accessories, under “Support Farmers for Wheat Crop Production in North Aleppo – Phase III”.

These harvesters will facilitate the harvesting of wheat crops by farmers, thereby, saving them time and effort, and allowing for increased harvest.

This is part of a series of deliveries, aiming to support farmers with essential equipment, along the delivery of specialised training sessions, in order to improve the quality and quantity of their harvest.

Such projects are vital to the Fund as they ensure the sustainability of production as well as households’ incomes and living conditions.

This project has a budget of EUR 2.76 million and is expected to directly benefit 2,000 wheat farmers and their 10,000 family members indirectly over a period of 18 months, which include six months for post-implementation monitoring and evaluation. An additional 90,000 individuals per month will also benefit from increased access to bread.
