Situation Overview
Syria continues to face a severe humanitarian crisis, with 14.56 million people food insecure, including 9.1 million acutely food insecure. Over 1.2 million people have returned to their areas of origin since December, but face challenges like damaged homes and inadequate services.
The humanitarian response remains underfunded, securing only 10% of the needed $1.2 billion through March. Rising inflation and currency devaluation have further worsened living conditions, making food unaffordable for many.
