This ninth report is submitted pursuant to paragraph 17 of Security Council resolution 2139 (2014) and paragraph 10 of Council resolution 2165 (2014), in which the Council requested the Secretary - General to report, every 30 days, on the implementation of the resolutions by all parties to the conflict in the Syrian Arab Republic.
The report, which covers the period from 18 October to 16 November 2014, provides a review of events since the adoption of resolution 2165 (2014). The information contained in the report and its annex is based on data available to United Nations entities on the ground and on reports from o pen sources and sources of the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic.
