HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MONTH
DURING NOVEMBER 2016

UNFPA expressed its concern over the attack on two of its supported maternity facilities in Syria. The UNFPA-supported maternity hospital in Idlib was bombed on November 25, which is the day that marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
M2 hospital in East Aleppo was also bombed in November, leaving five casualities.
UNFPA Syria participated in three convoys to hard-to-reach areas, one in Madaya-Rural Damascus and two in Homs reaching a total of 1,900 women and girls.
