What happened

Between March 6-7 March 2025, six hospitals in the rural areas of Latakia and Tartous, including Jableh National Hospital, were attacked by pro-Assad forces during escalating clashes (See Attacks on Health Care News Brief 05-18 March 2025 for further details on specific events). These attacks resulted in significant damage to medical facilities and raised concerns about the safety of patients and health workers.
