IOM Regional Response to the Syria Crisis Situation Report - 9 May 2013

HIGHLIGHTS

• Syria: During the reporting period, 8,384 beneficiaries in Lattakia, Homs and Aleppo were provided with Non-Food Items (NFI).

• Jordan: During the current reporting period, IOM facilitated the transportation of 9,281 Syrian refugees to Za’atri camp and Emirates Jordanian Camp (EJC).

• Iraq: IOM has completed skills profiles for 246 Syrian refugees (148 in Domiz camp, 63 in Duhok and 53 in Erbil); in total 520 young Syrian refugees will receive training and assistance to improve their livelihood options.
