IOM Regional Response to the Syria Crisis Situation Report - 20 June 2013

HIGHLIGHTS

• Syria: From 11 to 15 June, IOM distributed Non-Food Items (NFIs) to 20,372 beneficiaries in Hama, Homs, Latakia and Sweeda.
• Jordan: During the reporting period, IOM facilitated the transportation of 3,070 Syrian refugees to Za’atri camp and Emirates Jordanian Camp (EJC).
• Iraq: From 12 to 16 June, IOM in coordination with the Ministry of Displacement and Migration (MoDM) dis-tributed non-food items (NFI) to 413 Syrian households living in Al Qaim, Aanna and Rawa cities in Anbar governorate.
• Lebanon: On 17 June, IOM purchased around 1,000 NFI kits that will be distributed to 1,000 vulnerable Syri-an families in Zahrani.
