Syria is facing its highest levels of humanitarian need since the start of this 13-year crisis, and the situation continues to deteriorate.
The oil derivatives crisis persisted across the country. Increases in oil derivative prices resulted in higher prices of various commodities, including basic items, as well as transportation fees.
Since 24 June, the World Health Organization’s (WHO) team has been permitted to access Al Hol Camp following intensive advocacy efforts.
From 9 to 16 June, the water supply has been completely suspended to Qamishli City,
Al-Hasakeh Governorate, due to weak power feeding the water stations and affecting water pumping.
On 22 June, several stray bullets hit the United Nations (UN) hub building in Deir-ez-Zor City and damaged the electricity transformer which provides power to the hub.
