Zamzam IDP camp is located about14 km south of Al Fashertown, just 2.5kmaway fromthenorth-westerncornerofAl-Fashertown. Itisoneof thebiggestIDPcamps inSudan.Itcontains fourzonesA,B,C &D.Most of the IDPs in camp came from Tabit, Hashaba Abu Zerega, Otash, Hillit Sinin, Tarni, Jebel Marra areas, as well as areas from South Darfur like Muhajeria, Umm Shejera, Labdo, Abu Dangal, Khazan Jadeed, Shangil Tobay, Tabit, Tukukmare Alawana inDar el Salam locality and AbuDelek inKalimindolocality,

Primary data was collected in October to Dec 2022 and so all findings should be considered indicative. The Camp is in Al Fasher locality North Darfur state. NRC provide site management support in collaborationwithHAC.
