  • Ongoing Social and Behaviour Change (SBC), Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) initiatives promote community involvement and health education.
  • To strengthen prevention efforts, with support of GAVI and in coordination with the Federal Ministry of Health (FMoH) and the World Health Organisation (WHO), UNICEF has delivered over 3 million Oral Cholera Vaccine (OCV) doses to Khartoum and North Kordofan. As of 10 June, OCV campaigns had been launched in Khartoum, targeting 2.6 million people across five localities. An additional 3 million OCV doses are in the pipeline to expand coverage.
