■Since end-June 2024, clashes between the parties to the conflict in Sennar Stateand Sinja townhaveforciblydisplaced over 136,000 people(IOM DTM)toneighbouring localities and States likeKassala, Gedaref and Blue NileStates, but also further.
■This shift in conflict dynamics comes at a time when the conflict has intensified in El Fasher, North Darfur since April 2024 resulting in the displacement of close to 330,000 people within Sudan (IOM DTM), some 50,000 people into neighbouring Chad(UNHCR), along with the repeated destruction of civilian infrastructure such as hospitalsand civilian death
