Turkish Red Crescent responded to the ongoing conflict that has been going on for 2 years in Sudan and initiated a Humanitarian Aid Operation to Sudan for the people affected by this conflict. As part of the operation, a sea shipment has been planned on the Mersin- Port Sudan route. The shipment, designated for the Sudan Red Crescent, has been loaded onto the vessel named SARDES. With a total weight of 1.955 tons of humanitarian aid items, the ship sailed from Mersin Port on July 12th and is expected to arrive in Sudan Port on July 17th.
