The Sudanese Red Crescent Society, SRCS, organized Saturday in Juba a volunteer day to demonstrate the organization activities to the public. Speaking to Miraya FM, the Director of the SRCS, Juba branch, Michael Muki, said it is the first time that the organization organizes such an event, adding that it will enable staff members to interact with people. The Director General of Sudanese Red Crescent Society Secretariat for South Sudan, Athur Agany, said they have been working closely with the government in the areas of health, water and sanitation, food security and capacity building. Agany further said the organization has a tracing department which helps connect families who were separated during the war.
