Methodology:
The Multi-Sector Needs Assessment (MSNA) is a nationwide household survey conducted locally across Sudan. The survey was designed to ensure representative sampling at the locality level where access and safety allows, covering internally displaced persons (IDPs) in sites and IDPs outside sites and non-displaced populations.
Data collection was carried out between June and August 2024, with 22.6K households assessed across 166 localities. The female-to-male response ratio was 3.7. Data collection were conducted by IOM DTM and analysis were supported by REACH with OCHA coordinating the process.
