Sudan: Humanitarian situation in Warrap improves

A Member of Parliament in Warrap State, Joseph Mayom, said that the security situation has improved following recent inter-tribal violence. He told Miraya FM that the State's Legislative Assembly is currently engaged in deliberations on a proposed law to counter insecurity in the State. He pointed out that discussions will end next Monday. Earlier, Warrap State witnessed inter-tribal clashes in which 140 people were killed and tens others wounded causing deterioration of humanitarian conditions.
