Sudan: Humanitarian Aid General Commissioner lauds the Saudi Monarch's decree extending work duration of Saudi Red Crescent in Darfur

Khartoum, Aug. 25 (SUNA) - Humanitarian Aid General Commissioner, Hassabo Mohamed Abdul- Rahman has lauded the royal decree issued by the Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques, King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia extending the work of Saudi Red Crescent in Darfur. During his meeting Saturday with the head of the Saudi delegation and senior leader in the Saudi Finance Minister, Mohamed Ibn Ibrahim Al- Sebait in the presence of the Saudi Ambassador in Khartoum, Abdul- Rahman expressed satisfaction with the support being extended by the Kingdom to Sudan especially to the floods and rains affected people. He reviewed the effects resulting from the floods and rains including the deterioration of food and health situations, referring to the humanitarian aid delivered by the government and its priorities in the fields of shelter, food, health and environment.
