RESPONSE UPDATE
The FSL sector key needs during the period of 2018 include General Food Distribution (GFD), Food for Assets (FFA), emergency agriculture and livestock inputs, support to services and resilience building livelihoods support, training and start-up kits.
The key response between January and December 2018 was provided with the support of 64 active sector partners (including lead agencies and implementing partners) and 8 financial partners and reached a total of 4.07M food insecure girls, women, men and boys. Of which:

1.74M IDPs, returnees and host communities supported with GFD - 638,000 IDPs, returnees and host communities supported with emergency livelihoods interventions (agriculture and livestock)

1.5M IDPs, returnees and host communities supported for self-reliance through FFAs and livelihoods interventions (agriculture and livestock)

61,000 vulnerable residents supported with resilience building livelihoods interventions Overall, the sector supported 2.26M IDPs, 0,04M returnees, 0.95M host/resident communities and 0.86M refugees with different food security and livelihoods activities.
*As per the original HRP, the number of people in need was 4.8 M, revised to 6.1 M according to IPC May- July projection.
*In this quarter, the overall figures of the response were calculated based on the original HRP 2018 planning figure.
