The Sudan First- and Second-Line Emergency Response (FaSER) is an emergency response mechanism funded by ECHO and led by Solidarités International in consortium with Concern Worldwide, Premiere Urgence Internationale (PUI), Triangle Generation Humanitaire (TGH), and Dar for Community Development (DCD). The FaSER involves raising alerts in relation to recent events in Darfur and Al Jazeera that have humanitarian impacts, analysing needs in locations affected by these events, and implementing emergency response activities followed by second-line assistance. This alert report provides basic, initial information in relation to an alert raised by a member of the FaSER. Due to the nature of these alerts, information may become outdated rapidly, and entities interested in responding to the alert should reach out via coordination mechanisms or to humanitarian partners active in the alert location for further, updated information.
