RESPONSE HIGHLIGHTS - APRIL
● In Sudan, 44 individuals were supported with movement assistance (permanent migration, resettlement, and family reunification) from Sudan to Canada in close coordination with UNHCR.*
● In Ethiopia, 3,699 individuals were provided health assistance. Sexual and reproductive health services were provided to 168 women at the Metema Point of Entry (PoE) and 520 individuals benefitted from MHPSS services at the Metema and Kurmuk PoEs. Health support provided also included pre-departure medical screening for 225 returnees at Metema before their onward travel to Gondar and Addis Ababa.
● In Libya, 445 individuals were provided with health and mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) in Alkufra, Tripoli, Benghazi,
Sebha, Ejdabia, Murzuq, Bani Walid and Zwara; assistance provided included medical consultations and referrals, as well as art-based activities, needs assessment, awareness raising sessions, psychological first aid, and counselling.
● In South Sudan, 3,417 individuals were provided with onward transportation assistance (OTA).
