Sudan: 14 killed in cattle raids in Unity State and Kongor Community

At least fourteen people were killed and eleven wounded in fights between cattle raiders said to be from Unity State and Kongor Community of Tonj North in Warrap State. Commissioner of Tonj North County, Deng Ayieny Aleu said that the attackers raided thirty one cattle camps in Aliek Payam on Monday. He noted that the incident led to heavy fighting between the cattle raiders and the local community of Kongor.

The wounded have been admitted to the Health Care Centre in Warrap Town for treatment.
