Khartoum, April 6 (SUNA)- The state minister at the Ministry of Interior, Babikir Ahmed Digna, on Monday met the Refugees Commissionr, Hamad Al-Jouzoli Morwoa'a.
The commissionr noted in press statement that the meeting touched on a number of issues of concern to the refugees on top of which the resettelement programme carried by the UN High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR).
He stressed that the State Minister at the Ministry of Interior has given directives for the observing the principle of fairness in the selection of the resettlement opportunities among the refugees in accordance with the extension of the states' sovereignty, the rule of law and the preservation of the dignity and humanity of refugees as stipulated in the international conventions and laws.
