Operational Context & Approach
Waves of displacement continue in Tawila, with new arrivals recorded throughout March from surrounding areas. Most of these individuals have been affected by ongoing conflict, having fled violence and, in many cases, experiencing secondary displacement after initially departing from El Fasher.
Despite the significant expansion of Daba Naira Camp, NRC has maintained effective coordination with relevant authorities and partner organizations. This has facilitated the timely accommodation of new arrivals, as well as the continued provision of essential services. New arrivals have been allocated to Camp A in Tawila Omda.
The NRC site assessment continues to monitor sectoral gaps and provides monthly updates on evolving needs. These findings play a critical role in informing emergency response planning and ensuring that resources are effectively mobilized to address the most urgent priorities.
