04 April 2011 - UNAMID is currently investigating a 2 April incident at the Khamsa Dagaig Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp, in which seven unknown armed men reportedly entered the camp and began shooting sporadically, before robbing a local shop. Two people from Khamsa Dagaig, located 7 km west of Zalingei in West Darfur, were reportedly injured. Local authorities are following up on the case.
