Executive Summary

- In 2009, a total of 30,259 households were served in the ROS region. Of those, 24% were served by the Government of Sudan, 46% by NGOs, and 30% by the Common Pipeline.

- UNJLC completed the handover to the Humanitarian Aid Commission of approximately US$81,000 of NFI Common Pipeline contingency stocks pre-positioned in key locations in Rest of Sudan (ROS) to support emergency response.

- Sector reporting for the ROS and Darfur regions will be combined beginning in 2010.

- UNJLC recommends that all coordinating partners provide information regarding other secured funding, in order to maintain an accurate overall sector perspective and effectively advocate for additional funding when available.

UNJLC encourages all partners to share information about their other pipeline and/or supplementary NFI activities.
