Executive Summary
- In May, 99,569 households were supported with non-food items and emergency shelter from the NFI Common Pipeline in Darfur, of which approximately 94.7% were IDPs requiring replenishment, 4.7% were disaster-affected, and 0.6% were newly displaced.
- UNJLC prepared a Common Appeal for the NFI Common Pipeline to cover shortfalls in funding for the remainder of 2010. The Appeal is pending endorsement by the Advisory Panel.
- UNJLC requests that all coordinating partners provide information regarding other secured funding, in order to maintain an accurate overall sector perspective and effectively advocate for additional funding when available.
- UNJLC encourages all partners to share information about their other pipeline and/or supplementary NFI activities.
